Who can access payment information?

School owners can assign staff different levels of access to financial and membership data. In addition, once a credit card or bank account number is entered into a student’s profile, no one can view the entire number, not even Zen Planner employees.

Why should I handle my own billing?

Most martial arts school owners choose to handle their own billing because it’s much less expensive than paying a billing service. Zen Planner provides you with all the same services as a traditional billing company in one, convenient system. There's no need to export your data every night or maintain multiple databases.

What do I need to use your system?

All you need is a merchant account and a payment gateway account. Just plug in your account information into Zen Planner and your system is now active.

Where can I get a merchant account?

When you sign up with PaySimple as your payment gateway, a merchant account is automatically created for you. Learn more about PaySimple's rates.

What fees do you charge?

Zen Planner does not charge you any fees to process your transactions! Check with your bank and payment gateway for any fees. Our preferred partner, PaySimple, has a handy fee comparison chart that compares their fees to other major payment gateways.

What is a PCI Certification?

Being a certified PCI merchant means that Zen Planner meets the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard created by Visa and MasterCard to protect against fraud and identity theft. Zen Planner is secure and regularly tested to withstand hackers and phishing attacks.
